Customer service feels like dealing with a 10 year old

This company is trash holy hell. Customer support is legit put on a script and makes it feel like youre talking to morons or a very bad computer program. all these services screw you out of your money anyway but at least the door dash customer service has competent human beings.

kinda mid

love the service, but it does take long for the food to arrive. i had to wait an hour for my food to arrive. but other than that it's okay

The Grub Hub is terrible.

The order was placed at the restaurant nearly an hour after it was entered on Grub Hub. I then received two conflict reports from Grub Hub. One said the order had been delivered. The other showed an hour later than it original said. There is no phone number to reach somebody at grub hub. I called the restaurant. They were very nice and confirmed they had not received the order from Grub Hub until an hour after we placed it. Terrible service and no way to check their mistakes or reach a person.

Review on delivery

Grubhub is for delivery. I normally don't have any complaints about the delivery. It's usually the restaurant I complain about. So Grubhub delivery is usually pretty good.

Beware...Grub Hub Prime

Grub Hub with free delivery (still leave a good tip for the driver) through Pime sounded too good to be true ... i signed up. After ordering i found out that the prices for menu items are much higher than if i order and pick up the item myself. I ordered char wings and hamburger sliders. On the regular menu the wings were $14.99 but the Grub Hub menu site charged $22. The sliders were $3 more. So beware. I have already cancelled my membership.

Bad experience all around.

This was my first and last experience with Grubhub. Food was supposed to take 30 minutes, but took 1 1/2 hours. My driver was named Diana, but when it arrived, a man handed it to me, and a minute t later I got a text from Diana saying she had left the food on my porch. The food was cold, and part of the order was missing. Bad experience from beginning to end. Can't imagine using them again.

You are forced to tip ahead of time…

You are forced to tip ahead of time otherwise drivers wont accept your order and once they have your order they are slow and don't actually deserve the tip. This is an expensive service with lazy drivers. If its so expensive then I shouldn't have to watch my driver sit in their house for half an hour after accepting my order. Driver didn't even show up at the restaurant until the food was supposed to be delivered already and customer service did nothing.

Sketchy and poor service

It is rare to have a seamless grubhub experience. Today one item in my order was ice cold and rubbery (chicken sandwich) and the chat person Marites E. was incredibly unhelpful. Apparently they do not refund for crappy cold food. I asked about the refund policy…crickets. I had to repeatedly ask if the chat person was still there. She offered a coupon which frankly is pointless. After waiting and waiting with no response I asked to be transferred to someone else. End result is I did get my refund but the supervisor Sara M. would NOT tell me anything about the “new” refund policy. Sketchy af.
P.S. Y’all need to retrain Marites E because that performance was very subpar.

Subs are amazing limited on the candy…

Subs are amazing limited on the candy especially chocolate which I love it keeps telling me I'm going to get a free order after I order for I must have ordered from this place 10 times and haven't gotten one so other than that I love the place but if you get order some GrubHub expect them to be at least an hour long wait.

I have been a very loyal customer until…

I have been a very loyal customer until I am not. We live in a large complex and it is hard for the delivery person to get to our unit. On a recent order I let the driver know my daughter was on her way down to the main entrance. He became very impatient and I told him we go down to help them out. Here is his response:
Haha go ahead I'll just skip any orders to your building
And I don't mind walking
That's why I pick up my own food when ever I order take out. Cause I'm not a fat lazy pig like your self and your family 🐷

Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.

Because they have horrible business practices. Their drivers steal food, get away with it, and then grubhub bans YOUR account because they think you're at fault. Avoid at all costs.

Their system allows their drivers to steal food with no repercussions. You wind up paying almost double in nonspecific "fees" and tips that your driver may not even earn.

A:

The Grubhub corporate model was not designed for customer satisfaction. It was designed to make money for WallStreet as an initial IPO company. Nobody cares about the customers, it's all about the IPO money and then the bankruptcy of the company as soon as it's stock performance fails. Get used to it, it's the new corporate model for all start ups in the US.
